Lex et Praxis Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes original and high-quality research in the field of legal studies, encompassing both theoretical and practical perspectives of law. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars, researchers, and legal practitioners worldwide.
All submitted manuscripts must meet the following requirements:
Original and unpublished work
Not under consideration by any other journal
Written in clear and scholarly English
2. Types of Manuscripts
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:
Research Articles (5,000–8,000 words)
Review Articles (4,000–7,000 words)
Case Notes / Legal Analysis (3,000–5,000 words)
The word count includes footnotes but excludes references.
3. Manuscript Structure
a. Title
Concise and informative (maximum 14 words)
Written in bold, 14 pt
b. Author Information The manuscript must include:
Full name(s) without academic titles
Institutional affiliation(s)
Email address(es)
ORCID iD (recommended)
c. Abstract
150–250 words
Written in English
Must clearly state background, objective, methodology, and key findings
d. Keywords
3–5 keywords
Separated by semicolons
e. Main Text The manuscript should be structured as follows:
Introduction (background, research problem, objectives)
Methodology (type of research: normative, empirical, comparative, etc.)
Discussion / Analysis (legal reasoning, theoretical framework, data or case analysis if applicable)
Conclusion (summary of findings, recommendations or implications)
f. References
Must follow OSCOLA (Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities)
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
g. Footnotes
Use footnotes (not endnotes)

Must follow OSCOLA citation style

Authors retain the copyright of their work while granting the journal the right of first publication.

8. Data Availability Statement
Authors are encouraged to provide a Data Availability Statement describing the accessibility of the data supporting the findings of the study.
Where applicable, authors should:
Indicate whether the data are publicly available, restricted, or not applicable
Provide links to datasets, repositories, or supplementary materials
