Publication Ethics
Lex et Praxis Journal adheres to the ethical standards and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and academic integrity throughout the editorial and publication process.

1. Duties of Authors
Authors are expected to:
- Submit original and unpublished work
- Ensure proper acknowledgment and citation of all sources
- Avoid plagiarism, data fabrication, and data falsification
- Disclose any financial or non-financial conflicts of interest
- Ensure that all listed authors have made significant scholarly contributions
- Refrain from submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals simultaneously
2. Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for:
- Making fair, objective, and unbiased editorial decisions
- Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts
- Evaluating manuscripts solely on academic merit and relevance
- Avoiding conflicts of interest in the editorial process
- Ensuring the integrity and transparency of the publication process
3. Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to:
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback
- Maintain the confidentiality of manuscripts under review
- Identify relevant published works that have not been cited
- Declare any conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment
- Complete the review process within the agreed timeframe
4. Ethical Misconduct
The journal takes all forms of publication misconduct seriously, including:

- Data fabrication or falsification
- Duplicate or redundant publication
- Improper authorship attribution or manipulation
Any identified misconduct will be handled in accordance with COPE guidelines and may result in manuscript rejection, retraction, or other appropriate actions.
