This edition presents studies on legal reform, digital culture, public policy, and international legal challenges in both Indonesian and global contexts. The articles Living Law in Indonesia’s 2023 Criminal Code and The New Criminal Code and Social Dynamics examine Indonesia’s criminal law reform, the recognition of living law, and the relationship between legal transformation and social dynamics. Digital transformation is explored through No Viral, No Justice, which analyzes the influence of social media on law enforcement, and Legal and Sharia Perspectives on Digital Culture, which discusses digital ethics, data protection, and Sharia perspectives in cyberspace. In the field of public policy, the article on access to medical services in remote areas evaluates the effectiveness of health policies and the role of INGOs in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the article on UNTOC highlights the challenges of transnational organized crime, international cooperation, and legal implementation in addressing organized crime in the era of globalization. 

All articles in this issue (9 articles) originate from authors affiliated with institutions in 2 countries, namely Indonesia and the Netherlands.
